(i didn’t write about my day and i want to so i can remember in the ~future~)
i tagged along to the crossfit gym for access to a barbell (current apartment gym is fancy and has a stacked dumbbell section but NO stinkin’ barbell). i was nervous b/c d is already competition training and i didn’t want to bug him but there were others in there training (and usually we have it to ourselves…) and i don’t really fit in (yet). but alas, i think i’ve finally made a (girl)friend there because she had me wear her lifting shoes. now that’s official - sharing sweat. and god, they felt SO good. life-changing, indeed. just add lifting shoes to my list of other wants - textured wunder unders, better sports bra (shrink boobs, pleeeease), warmer jacket, boxes of quest bars, foie gras (one of these does not belong).
warm up/cool down with 5 min on the stationary bikes, 60% effort. foam rolling.

jelly legs! today i can’t really bend down. i’d like to work my lower back more now so later i feel it more in the glutes/hams.
i wanted dessert so bad after that i wanted to cry. obsessed over pictures of quest bars and apple pies and froyo OMG, w/e. then i ate a ~1,000kcal dinner (bacon guac cheeseburger w/o bun) and all was fine.
